Look at the situation without your tinted glasses.
They both went far beyond protesting.
She parked her car sideways in the street blocking ICE.
He saw himself as a savior/leader or something. He jumped in the middle of something that didn't involve him.
Maybe for his sake he should have thought twice about physically challenging an ICE agent who is armed.
What really got him killed though was his bringing a firearm to this protest.
That was a foolish thing to do.
Both of them were killed as a result of their own actions.
Take off the tinted glasses and see it.
